In a down economy, it only makes sense that some folks by necessity will have to wait until times get better before they spend money on certain aspects of property upkeep.
But a down economy should not prevent property owners from performing one basic task: mowing their lawn! I don’t know what it is about some folks who let grass and curbside weeds grow knee-high! They may not care that they make themselves look like slobs in the process, but their property can often detract from entire neighborhoods. Plus, it’s against Kingston’s ordinance to let grass grow higher than eight inches.
